Where do you get your ideas?
Everywhere--my fantasies, observations of people and everyday life, things that have happened in my family or in my life.
Why are your women so curvaceous? Do you work from models?
I work from my head and my memory. I appreciate the variety of shapes women come in and I find them inspiring.
Why the devil thing? And why is he always bringing things?

Why does the devil have a cell phone?
The devil needs to keep in touch with his clients--to service their needs, remind them of the options for pleasure and feed the empty cravings.
Why the chef? Were you once a chef?
Food is another great source of temptation and pleasure. A good chef can make you weak. I've never been a chef. I've always been an artist, with the exception of one summer when I painted houses to earn enough money to buy an etching press...
Who's the guy in the robe?
The robe is apparel that represents relaxation. The man in the robe is usually in a state of anxiety, so it serves the function of creating tension under a facade of leisure clothing. I have been the guy in the robe.
What do the angels represent and why are they always nude?
They have come to represent the idealized woman--strong, beautiful, sensuous.
Do you drink martinis?
No, though I have observed their power and I have a reverence for their graphic beauty, I have not succumbed.
Do you own dogs?
No. I have a small house and allergies.
